Echo Reading

Having students listen and read helps students decode words, hear unfamiliar words, and practice saying words. Here are a few ideas for Echo Reading.

  • Choose any Dr. Seuss Book.
  • Select “Read to Me”.
  • Listen to a page and echo the text.
  • Don’t forget to use expression!
  • Slightly tap on a word to hear it again.
  • Press firmly on the paragraph to hear the entire paragraph again.
